Lapis & coral om mani padme hum brass - prayer of compassion
Hand made in the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal with crushed lapis and dyed coral encased in brass. Each symbol on these hand made cufflinks represent direct scripture. Om Mani Padme Hum is a Sanskrit mantra believed to hold all the teachings of Buddha, an ancient Wikipedia if you will. A prayer of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hum, is translated "Hail the jewel in the lotus".
Tibetan Buddhists believe that saying this mantra or prayer out loud or silently to oneself, and viewing the written form invokes the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Chenrezig. Compassion is the most important religious practice for the Tibetan Buddhists, we all could benefit from this practice of holding compassion towards another, a perfect gift for anyone and everyone.
