Laser etched leather scarabs - transformation
For centuries scarab beetles have been used to symbolize wealth, used as currency, fashion accessories and to serve as a form of artistic expression. In ancient Egyptian religions the scarab was a symbol of immortality, resurrection, transformation and protection. These cufflinks were created out of a collaboration between Megin Spivey and Karen Kritzer of Kasegoods. The leathers are hand selected from Moore & Giles in Lynchburg, Virginia, laser etched in Cary, North Carolina and set in Sterling silver in Manhattan, New York. These cufflinks are perfect for around the office or out on the town and are completely hand fabricated right here in the United States of America.
